“I did swear, and I will. Tell me how I can help you.”

“The woman, the one that you would betray me with, get her to join our side. She is strong. With her beside us, not even Tyche could defeat us!”

“How do I do that, my Lady?” he asked her, desperate to please her, to feel her love bathing him again instead of this coldness.

“When the time is right, you will know what to do. You must leave your heart open to me. Now come, give me your warmth. I am so cold.”

She held her arms out to him, and he stepped into them gladly. The warmth of her love bathed him, and he sent his to her in return. Gradually, in his embrace, her chilled skin warmed up, and he felt her love wrapping around him. It wasn’t like with Grace, his cock wasn’t hard, but his heart seemed so full.

“Go now, my brave warrior. You need your sleep. Go and rest.” She looked up at him with eyes as black as pitch and a smile that was more of a leer. Kurt blinked in shock, and the image was gone, replaced with the loving smile he knew. “What’s wrong?” She asked him.

“Your face, it changed for a moment.”

“Silly boy, of course it changes. This is a dream, although I can reach you here, you are still in control. Your own thoughts describe what I look like. If my appearance changes, it is because you thought of it as different.” She hugged him tight, pressing into him until he grunted. “Go on now. Get some rest. You have much work to do tomorrow.”

The light around him dimmed until it was black again. It was like the sun rose and set with her presence, although it never became full daylight. It was always a rosy twilight much like she was, rose-skinned and beautiful. He shook his head in the dark. When had he become so poetic?

For a moment, something seemed wrong to him. An unsettling feeling stole over him, but then he thought of his Lady, and he was surrounded by her warmth again. Grace. He had to talk to Grace in the morning and see if he could get her to join his Lady’s side, to leave the darkness of Tyche and come into the warmth and light.
